Terms of Service

These terms apply to the Codex Cold Archive tool and related information published by YuChe Lab.

User control and authorization

You may use the tool only with files, accounts, and storage that you own or are authorized to manage. Backup, verification, restoration, and deletion are separate actions. The tool does not treat a successful backup as permission to delete source data.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for protecting your device, OAuth access, and encryption credentials; maintaining sufficient storage; reviewing backup receipts; and confirming that a restore works before relying on a backup.

Availability

The tool is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Features may change as storage providers, desktop applications, and APIs evolve. No guarantee is made that every future Codex version or third-party service will remain compatible.

Acceptable use

Do not use the tool to access another person’s data without authorization, bypass service restrictions, distribute malware, or violate applicable law or provider terms.
